CrossFit is different animal than traditional fitness programs and so is our approach with nutrition. We like to think our ancestors had it right and that breads, grains or beans should not be the mainstay of a person’s diet. Have you fallen out of your chair yet? I’m sure you are wondering what to eat then, right? It’s easy: Eat meats, veggies, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and NO sugar!
We also want to focus on fueling our workouts to get the maximum results. Knowing what to eat, when to eat…it can be confusing at first, so we are here to help and have several different options:
4 Week Intensive Nutritional Counseling Includes:
Please note: This is a tough love counseling! I expect you to commit 100% to doing Paleo/Primal during our 4 weeks together.
- One-on-one 30-45 minute introductory session where we go over the basics of Paleo/Primal, your personal goals, what foods to avoid and what to eat.
- Before and after pictures
- Weekly review of your food journal as well as to discuss how you are feeling, how your diet is going and any changes or tweaks we might need to make
- Access to Bridget 24/7, okay, not exactly 24/7, but you can schedule appointments, send emails or cry on her shoulder at any time during the six weeks.
